It's Birthday Month

Oh hey hey hey. Guess what this month is. Did you guess it? Have you realized that it is BIRTHDAY MONTH?

This is really of significance to my mother and me. She seems to always care so much about my birthday...

Anyway. I haven't posted in a long time, which is pretty normal considering school and work. And I don't really feel bad, so moving on...

My birthday is at the end of this month, and family and friends keep asking me what I want. The thing is, I'm not a huge presents person. I love heartfelt, meaningful presents more than anything. This isn't to say I don't want nice things or nice presents. I'm just saying, I wouldn't love someone less if the gifts were nonexistent.

So for anyone wondering, this is my birthday wishlist.

This Great Gatsby sweater is what dreams are made of. XS please. Oh and a rose, of course.

Oh and then there's this perfect specimen of sweatshirt. I love this beautiful sweatshirt. Can I have it, please? XS, of course.

I am definitely the crazy bunny lady. And I need earrings like this to make it obvious.

This is the annotated edition of Peter Pan. I am deeply in love with this book, and everything in it, and everything in this annotated version. It is seriously splendid.

Words can't express how I feel about this book

Everything on here is bunnies, books, or both. Is my weird showing yet?

I have been lusting after this poster for a few years. I love it.

Okay. I can't do this anymore..

this is everything I could possibly think of apparently. Unless someone wants to splurge and get me a turntable...

Love, Sarai

These Days

I have been much too busy to actually post anything good lately. I'm swamped at school, and dealing with a lot. But, that doesn't really matter. Because tomorrow (the 26th), is my birthday. BOOM BABY!

The first picture is of my friend Ben and I after a night of karaoke for my birthday on Saturday. And then the next picture is of my darling friend Sydney. She turned twenty on the 24th, so we now declare the 25th to be our special shared birthday-day. I love that girl. A whole lot a lot.

Anyway, this is just my version of checking in on my lil' bloggy blog before I die from the stress of midterms.

Also, my grandpa was starting to get worried by the lack of posting. Hahaha.

happy birthday to me

So my birthday was on Sunday. I was dreading this birthday because it meant that i'm really turning into an adult. There's no turning back now. You would think 18 would mean that but it doesn't. You're still in high school and acting like an idiot. But it's a good thing i'm so short and could pass as a 15 year old for a few more years... Maybe that's wishful thinking though since in the past week two people thought I was 21 and were surprised to find out i'm only 19.
Anyway, enough with mourning my childhood. My old roommates stopped by and gave me a HUGE birthday card, then we went on a picnic, watched pride and prejudice, and some girls from church gave me a giant Hershey bar. Oh and I was sang to by my soon-to-be brother-in-law in Spanish, and by my grandparents (I never answer when they call because I want them to sing to my voicemail so I can listen to it for the next week :) Overall it was a pretty good birthday!
I still wish I was Peter Pan though and could fly away to a land where fairies exist...

happy birthday sarai!

Sexxxyyyyy

It's Sarai's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR!
Sarai is my person, my best friend, the person that I can confuse hatred and love with and she doesn't care (sometimes a punch or two happens), the one person i don't have to explain my thoughts to because she just gets it. I love our late night giggles. I love how we have telepathy. Two sentences, word for word, at the same time. Be jealous. I love our awkwardness. I love pretending to be batman with our clothes.
Over the past few years we've realized how some people don't have a person and how lucky we are to have eachother. I don't know who I would send my random texts to during the day, complain about all this wedding business happening around me, and there would be no one to tell me when i'm just being plain ridiculous.
I love you dearest!
~Nancy
P.S. I wish I could show you all this great picture of us doing the can-can when we were six years-old, wearing awesome strechy floral shorts, me with short boy hair and sarai with her big glasses. But alas, that wonderful photo is back home.

Eating with my ladies is the best. Even if it's just at the Cannon Center haha.
I don't see them as often as I'd like to, even though we live on the same floor, cause I'm always with Mr. Dane. He takes up a lot of my time... which I of course don't mind :)

I'm thinking of cutting my hair again.

She's just gorgeous, and I want her hair

Love, Sarai

PS: Tonight, Dane is taking me to Pizza Pie Cafe for my birthday dinner! YUM :)

My birthday is on Sunday... I'm turning nineteen. I know that's a big deal for guys in the church, but it's not really a big deal for many girls. About a year ago, when I was talking to Nancy once, we mentioned that neither of us wants to get married too early. I think twenty-one is a great age, and Nancy used to think twenty-four was perfect. I don't know anymore. I mean, I'm not in a position to get married, but thinking that two years from now is my ideal time to get married? I feel like that is way too soon. Also, I love the relationship I'm in, but once Dane leaves, I'll have to start dating again. I can't think of a single person I actually want to go on a date with right now. I'm all confused and nervous.

I think birthday's tend to cause panic for me.

BUT, even though I'm away from home, and Nancy, I will most certainly try to make this the best birthday I've ever had. Also I probably will only get one present, from Dane.

But just in case, here are some ideas for all of you readers who possibly have money you want to blow on this poor, sweet, college student...

1.
