Fallspiration

For some reason, fall always feels like a new beginning. A sort of "new year" without all of the huplah. So a new year of course calls for new hair and new clothes. Here's what i've been dreaming about lately:

I can't wait for temperatures to drop and get snuggly in layers and layers of clothes! And those sexy button-ups ;)

I love fall. Autumn. The season of leaves and changing colors my dears! Does it get any better than this? I don't think it does....

I'm diggin the yellow and red leaves, and the crisp night air. It feels so good to inhale cold air. I swear it tastes different. Boyfriend says no way can cold and warm air smell or taste different. I beg to differ! In Washington, and now I guess Utah, I've noticed that it just somehow IS different. I love it so much though. I've been hating on the warmer weather that still plagues Utah, but luckily it's finally starting to cool down. It's not quite good enough yet...maybe five degrees cooler would be kind of awesome?

Butt suffice to say, I dig the weather, I dig the colors, I dig the leaves. Are you jealous? ;)

October Leaves

Yesterday I went for a nice sunday walk with my parents along the waterfront and saw my first red leaves of the season :) Its finally started to feel like the usual rainy northwest fall that i'm used to instead of random 80 degree weather at the end of September! What was up with that?! 

Last week I got fed up with this summer weather business and made some nice fall Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Chunk cookies.

Freaking delicious! And now that fall is here I don't have to create my own fall by baking constantly.

Fall Wishlist

For me, fall is all about running through leaf piles with rain boots and a skirt on, and taking a million pictures of the sky, and hot chocolate cups in mittened hands, but no heavy winter coat cause it's still fall, and tights with a cozy sweater will still suffice. I'm just so excited for fall, and all the yummy smells, and the corn mazes, and the halloween parties! I really just love that time of year....I know most of you are killing me for wishing this, but I want it to come faster! I don't want to wait until mid-september, or later, for the temperature to start dropping! College among the crunchy leaves and RM's....delightful ;)

Anyway, all of the delightful lil things on this list make me feel like fall is just around the corner, which it is, and they just make me want fall to hurry up even faster! Enjoy my picks!

1. Sephora Crush 23 Lipstick

I think this color is just divine, and so fall-ish

2. Blue pleated skirt

I feel like all my shirts would benefit greatly during fall if I had a skirt like this.

3. Purple tights

No reason...I just love them :)

4. Wedge desert boots

These little boots having been haunting me for too long...they'll probably be the first thing I buy on this list, because I think I can wear them with pretty much anything

5. Trench Coat

I've just always wanted a little trench coat to call my own...

It might have something to do with Breakfast at Tiffany's though ;)

6. Loose white blouse

This blouse has endless possibilties, and I would layer it or wear it alone so many different ways....this might be on the actual purchase list also

7. Striped blazer

So classy and classic, I think I could wear this with almost anything

8, 9, 10, and 11

just some lovely lil dresses :)

I think dresses and skirts with tights or knee socks are the perfect things for fall...

I'd rather wear them every day than wear pants personally

I'm hoping to at least get the shoes, blouse, and blazer! Maybe a dress too? If you know anyone who wants to give a present to a random blogger, hook a sista up ;)
