After I watched The Help I made this. I love that movie, and I've started putting artistic stuff in my diary, and this time I just knew I had to make something of Mae Mobley and Aibileen. So I did

And have any of you guys tried the chalk pastel hair streaking thing yet? I just tried it last night, and I love it so much. It actually worked so well, which was surprising.

Anyway, that's pretty much all I have to say.

Today I felt like a sailor. My pants were all flowy and with lovely buttons up the side, and I felt like I was supposed to be on a boat. But even though I wasn't on a boat, I still had a fantastic day-I got into the Intro to Film class that I so desperately needed. And after only one day, I'm already loving the class. I felt like they were speaking my language! Everyone in there liked movies, and we got to play this quote game where we guessed the random quote that the TA put on the overhead. Joyous occasion, that's for sure. Also I've already seen one of the foreign films we're going to watch in that class. And there's a British boy in there. I wanted him to speak for the entire class period...

And yesterday, I got to see Dane for the first time since break started, and it was so wonderful. We ate at this Italian place, and then we went to see Midnight in Paris. Then we kissed a bit.

So it was pretty great, overall ;)

These photos were taken at a particularly awkward angle for me, seeing as my eyes were squinting like a fat baby's every time Carson snapped a photo. Note to self: don't let Cars take pictures when I'm in direct sunlight. It makes for awkward squinty eyes. It's like bird eyes to the extreme. I'd be kicked off America's Next Top Model for my perpetually squinty eyes alone! And Nancy has the most beautiful huge blue eyes... so here I am with lame little baby eyes. It's stupid.

But also, Nancy has no boobs. And I do. So boom. I still got it.

Today I learned something new-at 5:30 PM a patriotic song plays all across campus. I did not know this. And apparently everyone stops what they're doing and observes this moment. This is also something I did not know. It's kinda cool actually.

Introducing my darling friend Zach! I bet you thought he was my boyfriend... HA! jokes on you. he's not. Boyfriend wears basketball shorts almost every day. He does NOT dress like Zach, who dresses real classy. Boyfriend can look wonderful when he wears his sperrys, but generally, he doesn't.

Moving on.

Zach is wonderful. You can't see it in the pictures that well, but he dresses nicer than most of the guys that I know. It's delightful :)

He is wearing a fantastic coat in these pictures, and I just dig it :)

Last night was the ward Halloween Party. So insanely fun. I'm not big on bowling, but my adorable roommate is. She was in a league my friends. A league. And I bowl gutters every time.

Also, everyone looked so cute!

And I just so happened to be a finalist in the costume contest. Wowza... That's never happened before :)

My friends are awesome.

Also, after the halloween party my friends and I went to Kendall's brothers apartment, and had a dance party that literally lasted ten minutes... um ok guys?

So we left the other lame-o people at his apartment and went over to watch 1408 with John Cusack. He is an amazing actor. But that movie was a bit painful, to be completely honest. I was sitting in slight fear for the first half hour of the movie...

but once the second half of the movie rolled around, it lost it's scary factor. Lame.

You know those mornings when you're so tired that all you want to do is go back to sleep, and not wake up until the very last second before you actually have to or else you will be late?

That was this morning.

For some odd reason unbeknownst to me, my stupid alarm kept going off, and it took me a million years to get it to stop shrieking at me. I wanted to break my phone actually.

But I didn't.

But I so severly wanted to.

Also, did you notice that I have eye makeup on in these pictures??? Huzzah my friends, it's a miracle! I never ever put on eyeshadow. I own scads of it, but I never seem to want to take the time and do something with it. But for some reason, probably because I didn't do my hair (this is all yesterday's curl thrown up into a really messy pony), I felt like making some semblence of an effort. You like? ;)
