It's the first day of school, and I loved every second of it. I forgot how great school was, and I forgot how much fun campus is when people are actually all over the place. I love it when it's empty and solitary, but I also love when it's buzzing. Of course, the heat made me want to die... I'm just not a fan of heat. I'm diggin the random rainfalls that we've had, but I hate that they don't last very long. It makes me a real sad :(

It snowed this weekend. Huzzah! I was beyond excited, because one of the reasons I was excited to go to Utah was the snow in the winter. My darling friend Beth was NOT happy however, cause she's from Florida. Slightly different weather..

I always wanted there to be snow in Washington, but all we ever got was one inch every once in a while, and it would melt so fast, there was almost no point in the whole thing. Except school always got cancelled, which was way nice. Obviously college doesn't get cancelled....

As for moments. Today I watched a movie with Dane, and we just hung out all evening. I really love this guy. We were cuddling, and talking, and I randomly tickled him. I have to say, this guy isn't the most outwardly happy, or the most smiley, but when he gets tickled... he has the most adorable laugh. It's like, he pushes me away because he's being tickled, but he's also laughing the entire time, so it's impossible for me to stop. I love that moment. Those few minutes when he doesn't stop laughing, and I'm giggling, and we're pushing each other. I just adore that, so much.

I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately, and it sucks. My body feels achy, my nose is all stuffy/sniffly, and I'm feeling grumpy because of it. Yesterday was boyfriend and my two month anniversary. I felt kind of gross the whole time, but I still enjoyed being with him, despite the fact that we were at a football game and i was freezing my lala's off, and then we went to go see Lion King, but instead we just hung out. And this morning when I woke up, I felt so sick and gross. I told him that, and he was like, "do you need anything?" and of course I go "what do you mean?" and he says "to make you feel better". I literally melted. Right there in church, I felt my heart get all melty, and I got all bashful. I sometimes forgot how wonderful he actually is, but he just reminded me by being such a sweetheart. Whatadarling.

Anyway, I'm all tired and fuzzy feeling, so this might not have made any sense to anyone who's reading it.

Anyway, have a great sunday, full of wonderful things....

Introducing my darling friend Zach! I bet you thought he was my boyfriend... HA! jokes on you. he's not. Boyfriend wears basketball shorts almost every day. He does NOT dress like Zach, who dresses real classy. Boyfriend can look wonderful when he wears his sperrys, but generally, he doesn't.

Moving on.

Zach is wonderful. You can't see it in the pictures that well, but he dresses nicer than most of the guys that I know. It's delightful :)

Last night was the ward Halloween Party. So insanely fun. I'm not big on bowling, but my adorable roommate is. She was in a league my friends. A league. And I bowl gutters every time.

Also, everyone looked so cute!

And I just so happened to be a finalist in the costume contest. Wowza... That's never happened before :)

My friends are awesome.

Also, after the halloween party my friends and I went to Kendall's brothers apartment, and had a dance party that literally lasted ten minutes... um ok guys?

So we left the other lame-o people at his apartment and went over to watch 1408 with John Cusack. He is an amazing actor. But that movie was a bit painful, to be completely honest. I was sitting in slight fear for the first half hour of the movie...

but once the second half of the movie rolled around, it lost it's scary factor. Lame.

Today at work (Icing) I did my first ever ear piercing. I thought it would be awful, and that I would cry or something. I also thought I would be doing a double with Kourtney. Instead, I did a single. As in, I pierced this little girl's ears, by myself, for my very first ear piercing. I was so completely terrified. I had no idea that I was going to do it on my own. It was amazing. And just....amazing.
I love it
I feel like some sort of master who can dictate whether or not someone has pierced ears or not. I have authority, I have gumption!
It just felt really cool to do that all by myself.
And I even filled out the paperwork, and did everything on my own. So exhilarating.

In other news my boyfriend won't kiss me. No worries, he's simply a sick boy and doesn't want me to get sick also. Being sick blows, so I feel for the kid, I really do. But I'd say right about now he should be getting much better so that he can just kiss me goodnight already.
I tried telling him that sickness does not deter me from wanting to kiss him. He won't listen though, insisting that I will most certainly get sick, and then we will have to wait even longer to kiss. ugh.

Boyfriend is sick. Poor kid, he's got a cold. I hate getting sick, and so I bought him Day-Quil. Being sick with a cold, especially during the summer, is awful. All you want is to feel cozy and bundled up, with soup and a sweater, and all other sorts of loveliness. But during the summer, or at least, the hot part of September, your chances of getting to be cozy are pretty slim. So I feel extra bad for the guy. If it was winter, or fall, when colds are supposed to happen, I would tell him to sleep,and watch movies, and just feel better. As is, there's nothing that can make him feel all that great. Unfortunately.

He's such a sweet guy though. I told him I wanted to go to homecoming a while ago, and he was none too happy about it. But randomly today he asked me if we were still going. And I told him that I had changed my mind since I knew he didn't want to go. But then he told me he wanted to go. And that we would have fun. Even though he hates dancing. So it will be wonderful, if I don't have work :)

Oh gosh, today at work, my assistant manager pierced a four year olds ears. And she literally screamed for an hour. I didn't know what to do about it. At first I wanted to cry too, cause it made me sad, but then I just wanted to tear my hair out. Ridiculous. Anyway, I got to spend a lot of time with my friend Brittni, who works at Chick-Fil-A. We don't get to see each other a lot, and today we rode home from work together, and that southern belle bought me a grilled cheese sandwich :) Gotta love a girl who buys me grilled cheese. Mama loves her some good ol' grilled cheese.
