Today Nancy is visiting me. As in, she is coming to Provo to see me, and she's staying for two nights! I might die of happiness right now. She's going to be here pretty soon, but I'm not quite sure when. But basically, I haven't been this excited to see anyone in a long time. Life is good :)
Basically, I miss Nancy so much it hurts my heart a little bit when we talk on the phone. But soon she'll be here, and all night long will be cupcakes, movies, and lots of squealing/screaming...
This is a video of me singing last night at the singing competition...which I apparently didn't do so well in since I didn't make it through to the second round...
Thing is, you vote by putting money in a box, and I just don't have the richest friends....maybe I should've gone to skyview...
Anyways, I hope you enjoy that craziness right up there!!!
Also, I don't have my own outfit pictures today, but I have some of my darling friend Kimmy!!
Uh just saying, she's a hottie. Am I right? :)
Lovely Kimberly does not mind that I'm a major creeper who takes pictures a lot...doesn't care one bit!!!
This is my library. Okay okay, not technically my personal library, but literally the one I have been going to since I was just a wee one....
And it just closed :(
And I'm sure you noticed that on the sign it says, 'new library grand opening', but it won't be the same to me no matter what. See the new library, which is being filled as I type, is this massive glass structure, and it's amazing. It's truly an accomplishment, and I think we should be proud of it. But that doesn't mean it's my library anymore. Now it's someone else's library.
I think I'm just freaked out because I leave for college in a week and a half, and this place I've loved since I was a little kid is no longer a place that I can go. I feel like everything is changing at the same time, and it's just making me all dizzy and anxious. But I'm still excited for the future :) Of course.
Ohhh! Today was the rehearsal for 'Couve Idol' which is a singing competition for high schools in my area, and I got in again this year! Two years ago I got second place, and last year I kinda didn't get very far. It's a charity event where you put money in people's boxes to vote, and tomorrow is the actual event! I'm so excited, but mighty mighty nervous :P
I think these are the songs I'm singing:
Anyways, I hope I do okay tomorrow :) Wish me luck!
That thing that looks suspiciously like a flower made out of hair? Yes, that is just my hair rolled into a little fluffy thing...

This week has been insane! My computer crashed due to nasty viruses, I wore those crazy ridiculous lovely shoes to SCHOOL, the school play ended (cue sniffles and tissues), I grabbed that perfect hat out of the costume room because I love it, and I earned my medallion!
So I kinda forgot how to do my hair like I did it in the first pictures...that was for church today, and for some reason, it just happened and I didn't pay attention to how I did it because I wasn't going to keep it that way! I curl my hair in sections sometimes, and when I pinned this section up haphazardly, I decided it looked cool in a vintagey way :)
And that lovely gold medallion? I earned it a while ago, but I just got it today at church :) I'm mighty happy!
I wore the shoes to school...surprisingly not painful :) And this is the hilarious conversation I overheard as I was walking to third period:
Girl 1: Wow, she's brave for wearing THOSE shoes
Girl 2: Just let her wear what she waaants GUURL!
Girl 1: I like her shoes! I'm just saying she's brave!
So awesome.
And the name of this post has to do with this song:
It's so beautiful, and whenever I hear it, I think of a certain person, and it gets me all nostalgic like! But that's okay :) What is romance for if not to teach us how to be happy?
