Well folks, it's been far too long! I've had AP testing these last two weeks, and I honestly have slept maybe half the time I normally sleep, and I've missed more school than I planned on :P

But in the meantime, I've gotten a PINTEREST account :) i've had it for a week or two, and it's so fun! It's nice to be able to save things I like online rather than in a file on my computer :)

Also, did you notice my SHORT hair in the second set of pictures??! That's my latest and greatest hair achievement! A fake bob! I thought my hair was too long for that! But it definitely happened, and worked well, which is delightful!

And midi skirts! I can't get enough of how lovely perfect they are! They make me feel oh-so-ladylike :)

It's been forever. And I have been missing the blogging....Our web album filled up, so I had to figure out the mechanics  of flickr....which was hard for me to be honest. I'm not a huge computer person. Actually it only took a few minutes and google to figure it out, but still....Things were touch and go for a while! 

I'm really proud of myself for doing this fishtail braid ALL BY MYSELF! Yeah...that's right ;) I figured it out, and then I just went with it. Everyone is so shocked when I french braid or fishtail braid my own hair...I didn't know it was that hard...but apparently it is! 

This lack of blogging has also been due to stress...homework takes major precedence over blogging, so it gets kinda stressful to even try. I've been staying up way late attempting to actually finish things on time, and be on track for graduation....it's tough sometimes. But I refuse to succumb to the possibility of wearing sweatpants and everything else to school. Last year I was all for that...this year however, Nancy and I have been trying much harder to dress cute! It's actually easy now to not roll out of bed and throw on sweats. My new policy is that if I don't feel cute or pretty, or beautiful in something, like heck I will wear it! No way darling, not happening. It's a pretty self-esteem boosting policy to have :)

I Just Love it When Unknown Numbers Call Me....

Actually, it confuses me. I always check who's calling me before I answer, so that I'm ready. But when it's unknown, sometimes I just let it go to voicemail...and then call them back if they leave a message....

This sounds uncomplicated. Except it kinda is...

My phone used to be my brother's old phone, so the voicemail thing is his little recording, which I have neither the phone know-how nor the permission of my sentimental mother to change....so anyone who calls me and gets voicemail, will get this message:

*spoken in man voice*

"Hey this is Sean, aka, da man. Sorry I missed you, leave your name and number, and a message, and I will get back to you as soon as possible"

Yeah, it gets a bit confusing I'd say...

Buuuut, I'm also too complacent to care :)

Well He Thought I Was Egyptian!

I was talking to my dear friend, BENJAMIN, who happens to be Indonesian, and he was guessing my nationality....

I Feel Like a College Student....and a teacher

Today was one of those days when I woke up, and everything felt fantastic!

I had Nancy's leather jacket, and that pretty much made my day right there :)

When I got to school today, I looked down at myself, and I realized I felt like a college student, which is pretty awesome considering I'll be one in nine months or so! I feel like things are going by so fast, but I'm definitely not complaining because I think graduation can't come fast enough!

But anyways, I also feel like a teacher today! For juniors and seniors at my school, one of our projects is to grade the underclassmen LEAP journals...let me tell you-I sympathize with teachers. It's fun to grade for a little while, but after the fourth journal of a sophomore forgetting that 'don't', 'can't', 'won't', and whatnot being inappropriate for formal papers (do not, cannot, will not, DUH), you really want to hit something. The experience is good though-helps me learn apparently ;)

Well Colin Ruined Everything...

Nancy's piano teacher, Colin, getting sick should have no effect on my life, correct??

Too bad it definitely did today. We had plans to switch back her shirt and my boots today on her way to her piano lesson. But Colin got sick, so lessons got canceled. I know it's probably not his fault he got sick, but it annoys me anyways.

Which is stupid...but whatever :P

Anyways, Nancy was wrong about the lace shirt not loving me. It definitely loves me, so she MUST be crazy!!! ;)

The Telepathy Reigns Supreme!!

So here's the thing: Nancy and I have been friends for like, what, fourteen years?? And she mentioned before that we have telepathy...

Well here's proof that we have telepathy, via my conversation with Cat only five minutes before my text conversation with Nancy:

Cat: hey I got this great mint green nail polish! 

Me: oh i love it!

Cat: I also got this super-pretty light pink!

Me: Ahhh! I want to own that! I have to tell Nancy that we should buy some!

Five minutes later:

Nancy: Hey so blah blah blah  we should definitely get some light pink nail polish!

Me: Dude!! I just looked at Cat's light pink nail polish and told her I wanted some!

Nancy: Telepathy moment!!
