Ahhhh. Sorry about the leave of absence my babies! I hated to be so gone, but it's finals weeks, and last week was leading up to finals week, and I'm just completely exhausted.

So yeah.

But also, my darling boyfriend got his mission call, and no matter how happy I am for him, I'm still sad because he's leaving me :(

But it's okay.

Also, life has been intense lately.  I've met Dane's grandparents, and they are wonderful, I've met his parents via skype, and I was so insanely nervous. I was the most awkward person in the world, but hopefully they don't hate me haha.

But yeah. Also, school kills me a little bit.

I saw Harry Potter this weekend...and I went shopping. So basically, life was perfect this weekend. Just saying ;)

Harry Potter....let me just say I cried my eyes out during that movie. Half of that was because I was just so sad that it was ending! My childhood is legitimately over now...I only cried that much during Toy Story 3 for that same reason! It just killed me....

Which is so wonderful and nostalgic, but so depressing. I was honestly so confused. It genuinely made me feel lost...

oh gosh. I sound pathetic.

Anyway, I went with pretty much my entire floor, and it was insanely fun! My darling friend Travis dressed as the golden snitch...so legit. And Danny dressed as a wizard, but I didn't get a good picture of that unfortunately...

And that same night, when I was feeling a bit emotional, I also felt like randomly talking to people, so I grabbed four guys who were talking to each other, and turns out we'd met before, and they had pranked everyone by putting the Creamery sign on top of the bike roof...so Diane and Carson climbed up also.

I love those ladies :)

Anyways, life is great, the weather is stormy as heck, and I wish I was asleep right now...but that would mean not studying, so unfortunately that's not going to happen....a girl can dream though....

I think I got the general idea down... but I don't have a lovely pink pleated skirt like this lady does, so alas I will have to acquire one...

It's been hot in Washington for the last few days. I mean we're known for our rain, but yesterday it was almost ninety degrees, and I was running around in  heels and a prom dress....Oh did I forget to mention that it was my friend's school's prom last night? It was mighty fun, and I met some very interesting people last night..I also got butt-bumped by a friend of mine who's 6' 4"....let me just say, when a six four guy butt-bumps a 5'1" girl, things get awkward real fast.... :P But it was still an enjoyable night. Oh, but can I just say, the most exciting thing about prom was the getting ready, and the dinner portion, rather than the actual dance? Cause the dance kinda sucked...it was super-awkward, and the music was AWFUL. Not normal top forty stuff that I dislike strongly but can at least recognize, but weird creepy thug music that I think not a single soul was enjoying...

Very very interesting, to say the least.

Yesterday lunch was phenomenal...

So phenomenal I was late for fourth period....oopsie :)

It was free pancakes at IHOP day guys. I couldn't resist! My Government teacher wasn't super-appreciative, but she got over it.

And today we went to Dutch Bro's Coffee, where I got a seriously wonderful wild berry smoothie! It was so delicious I couldn't handle it! And the guy was cute in a probably-does-drugs kind of way...so no...

And he also forgot my whipped cream....not cool dude. I don't care how blue your eyes are!

And today I auditioned for the latest school play! Last semester I played Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and last year I was Juliet in Romeo and Juliet.

And this time around? We're not doing Shakespeare...we're doing 'Our Town'! I kinda only know a little bit about it, and i tried out for the main part of Emily Webb....I had to recite a monologue, and I couldn't figure out what I wanted, so I just wrote one myself.....

I think it went well :) I actually made my sister cry! Awww! So sweet of her!

Well today was fantastic....it's snowing....

my birthday party is figured out!

That's pretty much everything except...

I GOT INTO BYU!!!!! PROVO!!!

I'm unbelievably happy right now :)

I mean, I had already gotten into BYU-I, but this is like, a personal triumph for me, because I was completely convinced I couldn't do it..

and my brother is going there.....as soon as he gets off his mission we'll both be there....

I started crying for a second when I found out, because I was so upset that I couldn't call him right then and there to tell him the wonderful news. He's one of the first people who should know! He's been encouraging me the entire time, and he believed I could do it even when I had resigned that we wouldn't go to college together....

but I was wrong :)

the lord was right!
