Nancy and I are the craziest of all ladies.

Tomorrow we're going to Sundance, mostly so that Nancy can see her friend Nico, but also mostly because I want to kiss Joseph Gordan Levitt. That's secondary though... obviously.

Anyway, we've decided to have crazy adventures. We're trying our hardest,  but people aren't always the best for helping us create adventures. Such as flying to random, amazing, tropical destinations. Which, alas, we will not be doing. But it's our dream at the moment. We're looking up flights for a wonderful best friend trip at the moment... we're thinking Bear Lake? Shh... don't tell anyone ;)

Has anyone been up to Sundance recently? As in, during the festival? Because I'm dying of excitement at the thought of it. I have a great desire to meet creative minds, and be among the people who understand how I feel about movies, and the like. It just amazes me :)

My brave advice at the moment?

Take a crazy trip somewhere, with your best friend

Sarai

Nancy and I are seriously good at this roommate thing. Look how smokin' hot we are, even in nine degree weather...

Anyway. Now that we've settled our hotness, I must move on to other topics.

I've been thinking a lot lately about a person. And this person was sending me horribly mixed messages, and I couldn't handle it a second longer. So I got me some Matt Damon inspiration, and got twenty seconds of insane courage. And I stormed across the way, into his apartment, right through the barrier and into his room, and stared him down. Not really. Well, I did all that, except the staring down part. I told him exactly why I was upset, and that he needs to decide on a course of action, and he needs to not be a big pansy about being honest. And finally, the truth came out. And despite the fact that I never seem to get what I want, I'm just so proud of myself for doing something for me. For telling someone how I feel.

And it's true. I made up my mind, I literally said to myself, twenty seconds of insane courage, and I made sure the rush over there was within that limit, and I just bore my soul. I made him realize exactly what he was doing wrong, and why it wasn't okay. And I survived. It was humiliating, and horrifying, and I haven't felt that strongly about someone in quite some time, but it was worth it. I needed to say it to him. And now I'm at peace. I'm crying, but I'm at peace.

So, the moral of the story, is that Matt Damon is always right.

And also that being honest is a wonderful feeling.

Be brave,

Sarai

Still Reaching for the Moon

My new Audrey movie of the week is Sabrina. I haven't seen it since I was a very young teenager, but Humphrey Bogart is pretty wonderful. I love him in Casablanca, and now I want to watch that one too. Haha I'm so in love with old movies. I thought it was because of my Mom, but my sisters don't love old movies... so I'm not sure what it is that created this whirlwind of old-fashioned love in my heart.

Anyway. I did lunch with my sweet friend Brittni today. I love our super-girly lunch dates :)

She has this boy she's been seeing, and wonderfully it has been going very well. She thinks it's getting pretty serious. Which makes me deliriously love happy, because this sweet girl deserves nothing but the best. We caught up, and she gushed, and it made my little heart swell a tiny bit :) I hope she marries him...

But this conversation got me to think. I know how to settle. I'm good at it. I settle for people who don't always treat me the best, because I just think that they need someone too. And because I never seem to find people who treat me like a princess. Or I like the ones who don't really see me. So this talk with Brittni made me realize that those men, they actually do exist. And I probably shouldn't settle. And I should strive for someone who wants me for me, and who treats me well.

Because I expect a boy who will lasso the moon for me :)

Sabrina quote:

Thomas Fairchild: He's still David Larrabee, and you're still the chauffeur's daughter. And you're still reaching for the moon.
Sabrina Fairchild: No, father. The moon is reaching for me.

Anyway, life is good, and wonderful, and nothing ever matters except that life will always be wonderful :)

Love, Sarai

Photo overload! We're actually posting together today! I (Nancy) made a last minute trip to Provo to take Becca dear to the airport in Salt Lake. Scariest thing of my life. Just sayin'. Snow, ice, dirty windshield, and lots of sun, on three hours of sleep. Not safe.
We've decided that we are buying Becca's car Jimmy if she ever decides to sell him. He's ghetto, old, but still fabulous. We want a car. We hate walking everywhere. The End.

Something to Be Said

I've been thinking about it lately, and I've realized there really is something to be said about the perfect way that my girl shoulders fit right under a boy's (my boy, duh) arm. I love that perfect fit-it makes long car rides less awful and more cozy.

That's all I have to say about my life at the moment, thanks.

And for my obsession right now...

I'm buying bracelets a lot lately. I never buy bracelets! I don't wear them! Until now, that is. Now I love them.

Pearl bracelet-Off a corsage, diamond bracelet, red bracelet, and silver bracelet-Icing

PS: I wish the weather were doing this all the time, but especially right now

Also, I'm obsessed with these songs right now:

PSSST! I might be going to Guster's concert with my lovely friend Audrey :)

Yayayayay date night!
We were gonna see Beauty and the Beast in 3D, but we realized that we didn't really like 3D, and we didn't want to pay money for a movie we've seen a million times. We'll wait until it goes to the dollar theater. Cheap people we are. It's the whole broke college thing. I mean, I had it all planned out to be a street pharmacist, but turns out that's frowned upon....

So we're seeing Moneyball instead. Not neccessarily my first choice for a movie this weekend, but I'm still excited being that yesterday was our four month anniversary and all.. no big deal.

So I'm watching Greek/getting ready. Enjoy your weekend lovelies!

Love, Sarai

PS: Watch Grey's Anatomy, the latest episode. I loved it :)

Also, watch Modern Family.

I love myself some good TV ;)

The Talk

No no, not the S-E-X talk; the DTR talk. As in, Determine the Relationship. Personally I'm a big fan of knowing where my relationships are headed. Whether it's splitsville, or marriage, I have to know! Not that any of my relationships are headed towards marriage that is. I'm only eighteen....geez you freaks.
Anyway
I had this talk with someone, because I personally like our little relationship, but I also don't want it to stay the way it is right now. I want it to turn into a real relationship, instead of a thing. So I asked. And I liked the answer I got. In about a week, you guys will know if we're actually official, or if things fizzled out...hahaha

So I'm kinda anticipatory....and excited :)

OH! Speaking of marriage.... I have two friends getting married in the next few months...and I'm freaking out! In a good, excited kind of way. One of these ladies is a friend I've had for years, and basically I get to help her do anything for the wedding that I want to. Which is good, because I'm obsessed with weddings. The other girl, I just met this semester. Known her for a few days, but already I can tell we're going to be good friends. And she kinda wants me to help her plan her wedding also, no big deal. Also, I get to make cupcakes for her wedding. So excited :)

But you know what I'm most excited about?
Lingerie. I'm going to buy them both a lot of sexy lingerie. It's going to be wonderful.

Love, Sarai

Obsessed with this song right now...
and also obsessed with the meaning behind it. I agree completely
