This is from today. I made raspberry swirl cupcakes with cloud frosting. Delicious, guys!

I have a deep love and obsession with making baked goods. It's become a bit of a problem, to be honest. Everyone I know will get fat...

And this is from Valentine's Day! My darling friend bought me flowers because I was the lame-o girl with no valentine. Okay. that's not really that lame. But I was down. So there ya go.

And this gem is from work no too long ago. I had some less-than-savory customers who left me feeling rage and seeing red. And this was the result of that exchange..

I'm so lucky. I have the opportunity to have these beautiful and sometimes awful things in my life. I can bake, I have good friends, and I have a job! That is more than some people can say.

Right now I should be sleeping, but instead, naturally, I'm contemplating.

why hello there...

Over the break I went to Utah with Celestial and stayed with her older sister Haley and her adorable family. I forgot my bag with my camera and all of my shoes so my pictures are limited. But it was so wonderful to have a break from school, stay in a real house, eat real food that I didn't have to make, make Easter cupcakes, snuggle with the babies, and go to Gateway(!!).

Now i'm back in good old Idaho. July please come faster so I can go home to Washington!

This past week I planned my first relief society activity. I was a little stressed, but it turned out so well, and a lot of people showed up. Wanna know what we did? We decorated cupcakes to make them look like Owls...

And it was insanely fun.

Also, Dane and I have had a seriously great last few days. We're both just happy with each other, and we keep doing nice things... how interesting. Also I accidentally scared him when I was on pinterest and started showing him my boards. Including the wedding board. It led to us looking at engagement rings on Tiffany's. Um, we're the strangest freshman ever. He came to the realization that we were picking out rings, and decided he was uncomfortable. So then we stopped haha. But it was funny while it lasted. 

And then we watched the Jazz game together. Or, he watched, and I just sat there looking at desserts online. 

And he's the best. Really. He's the best guy I've ever known*

No no, not the S-E-X talk; the DTR talk. As in, Determine the Relationship. Personally I'm a big fan of knowing where my relationships are headed. Whether it's splitsville, or marriage, I have to know! Not that any of my relationships are headed towards marriage that is. I'm only eighteen....geez you freaks.

Anyway

I had this talk with someone, because I personally like our little relationship, but I also don't want it to stay the way it is right now. I want it to turn into a real relationship, instead of a thing. So I asked. And I liked the answer I got. In about a week, you guys will know if we're actually official, or if things fizzled out...hahaha

So I'm kinda anticipatory....and excited :)

OH! Speaking of marriage.... I have two friends getting married in the next few months...and I'm freaking out! In a good, excited kind of way. One of these ladies is a friend I've had for years, and basically I get to help her do anything for the wedding that I want to. Which is good, because I'm obsessed with weddings. The other girl, I just met this semester. Known her for a few days, but already I can tell we're going to be good friends. And she kinda wants me to help her plan her wedding also, no big deal. Also, I get to make cupcakes for her wedding. So excited :)

But you know what I'm most excited about?

Lingerie. I'm going to buy them both a lot of sexy lingerie. It's going to be wonderful.

Needles Scare Me.....

I wore this outfit on Sunday....apparently Pioneer Day in Utah! I didn't even know that day existed until I got here. What a culture shock for a Washingtonian like moi? :)

And today I worked for five hours at the blood drive. A very interesting place for me to volunteer actually. I'm a bit terrified of needles. More than a bit terrified in fact. I'm so scared that I cry when nurses come towards me with needles. Yes, it's ridiculous, I'm fully aware. It honestly doesn't even hurt, it's just the anticipation of the sharp object piercing my skin that literally makes me want to throw-up. It's horrid. But because I firmly believe in blood donation, I felt that I must contribute in some way! So I signed people in, and met some mighty interesting folks along the way....

One guy randomly blew a kiss to me after he and his friend were kind of obnoxious when I was signing them in. That was very entertaining ;)

Overall, it was a great day. Even if I did spend it around antiseptic and needles.

OH, and here's a few pictures from the cupcake tasting that I went to this weekend :) Hmmm, these were some seriously delicious little cakes my friends. I scarfed a million of them :)

TREAT!

Yesterday was such a delightful day! I was having a fantastic morning, and at lunch time, I got to go hang out with Mozelle! We're friends, but we haven't hung out in a while :(

Well Mozelle, always looking out for me, decided we should go to a cupcake shop! 

If you haven't figured it out, I LOVE cupcakes!. They're my favorite baked good, actually.....

And so of course I said yes! We drive up to this adorable little cupcake store called Treat, and I get the most delicious red velvet cupcake I've ever eaten in my entire life! The frosting, the little heart on top, the cake itself! All amazing :)

 Now, the even more lovely and exciting story behind these cupcakes? The lady who runs it, I met her at the store, might be hiring someone to run the front counter this spring! And I think if she decides to hire I have a good chance cause we talked about it :)

It was lovely, and working in a cupcake shop is my dream! Literally!

I'm so excited I just did a little wiggle! :D
