Other girl: This is my roommate Diana. And I honestly don't know where she got any of this...

You remind me of the babe
What babe
The babe with the power
What power
The power of voodoo
Who do?
You do
Do what
Remind me of the babe

Can I just say I love this movie with all my heart?

I just rewatched it last night with my friend (the boy with the knowledge). It made my little heart sing! He pointed out how terrifying the birds in that movie are. They are honestly, awful, seeing as they pop off their heads and pull out their eyeballs... that's mildly horrifying. Just sayin.

But otherwise, a perfectly enjoyable movie I might say :)

And after that, we listened to Bright Eyes, before we decided to watch another movie. The movie?
Say Anything. I can't even handle how happy that movie makes me. I start tearing up instantly when Lloyd Dobler holds the boombox up to her windows. I love it...

Love, Sarai

Bundled

It was cold today. I'll give these BYU folk that much. Was it cold enough to justify a coat AND gloves AND a scarf AND a hat? No. Absolutely not. It was low 40's my friends. Once it starts snowing, then we'll talk about bundling up our bums and wearing cold weather gear. But I'm sorry, whent the sun is STILL shining, there is no reason to wear all that junk. I love myself a good coat, but it always covers my outfit, which is the opposite of what I want in my life. I went to my classes, and I took pictures, and I got food, without a coat. It shocks me when people think it's too cold to skip the coat. Maybe it's being from Washington? Granted, it only rains, hardly ever snows in good ol Vancouver, but perhaps the cold/rainy/windy locale has readied me for the Utah winters? I hope so. This lady don't wanna be freezing off her patooty or her lady lumps. Buuuut for the time being, it's not even close to cold enough for a coat. Boom.

Love, Sarai

PS: Once upon a time, I got dirt in my eye, and I got a stye. Now I might have another one. Which is stupid, and makes me very very angry.
The end.

I had Mint hot chocolate today, and it made me think of Nancy. She's kind of awesome, in case you guys haven't figured that out yet. She's the best friend that everyone WISHES they had. But only I do. So there.

Mint hot chocolate is a classic for us. I went to the sugar and spice place to ask for one, but once again, the machine was broken. This doesn't help me very much mister sugar and spice guy. You mock my pleas, but it's an addiction! And sending me to the little shop right behind yours isn't very nice either. I have to get it myself over there, and it took a year and a half because it kept breaking. So step up your game Sugar and Spice guy. Fix your machine! I want my hot chocolate....
It was a little too warm for it to be honest. But it's so good, so deliciously satisfying, that nothing could deter me from the yum.

It was heavenly

As for today's title. I realized yesterday how much I need a sewing machine. That scrumptious black pleated skirt? I fell into a bush and the button popped off. Not that I can use a machine to sew that back on, but putting the button back in place reminded me how much I love to sew, and to create. I need to start doing that again....

Love, Sarai

PS: boyfriend got home yesterday, and I was obnoxiously happy. So was our friend Elena, but I maintain I was the happiest to see him. I made him kiss me in front of everyone ;)

PPS: Thanks a million for the extra brill pics today :)

The Talk

No no, not the S-E-X talk; the DTR talk. As in, Determine the Relationship. Personally I'm a big fan of knowing where my relationships are headed. Whether it's splitsville, or marriage, I have to know! Not that any of my relationships are headed towards marriage that is. I'm only eighteen....geez you freaks.
Anyway
I had this talk with someone, because I personally like our little relationship, but I also don't want it to stay the way it is right now. I want it to turn into a real relationship, instead of a thing. So I asked. And I liked the answer I got. In about a week, you guys will know if we're actually official, or if things fizzled out...hahaha

So I'm kinda anticipatory....and excited :)

OH! Speaking of marriage.... I have two friends getting married in the next few months...and I'm freaking out! In a good, excited kind of way. One of these ladies is a friend I've had for years, and basically I get to help her do anything for the wedding that I want to. Which is good, because I'm obsessed with weddings. The other girl, I just met this semester. Known her for a few days, but already I can tell we're going to be good friends. And she kinda wants me to help her plan her wedding also, no big deal. Also, I get to make cupcakes for her wedding. So excited :)

But you know what I'm most excited about?
Lingerie. I'm going to buy them both a lot of sexy lingerie. It's going to be wonderful.

Love, Sarai

Obsessed with this song right now...
and also obsessed with the meaning behind it. I agree completely

This is a Good Feeling

Two things:

1. I got the job at Icing! I'm so excited, it's kind of ridulous. I almost applied for another job because I was so nervous, and I assumed I should start the job hunt again. But then, Amy Beth called. Amy Beth and I will be good friends, I can just tell. Wonderful. Anyway, I got the call, and I was mighty mighty excited when they offered me the job! I thought finding a job would be so much harder than this, but I guess I can credit my success in this endeavor to two people. My Papa, and my darling friend Brittni. First, my father has ALWAYS been a phenomenal example of what I should be in terms of a top-notch employee. I trust his judgement on how to behave during an interview, and how to just be the employee that they want me to be. Also, Brittni, the girl down the hall from me, gave me some really helpful tips and confidence boosts when I was freaking out before my interview. Wonderful girl she is :)

So that's that. I'm mighty excited :)

2. I like someone. I don't think he quite knows yet, but I hope he figures it out soon. I won't see him very often in a matter of a few weeks, so I'm really hoping he'll get a clue and realize that maybe making a move is okay, even if things won't last because we won't see each other. I think taking a chance, in the instance of possibly losing someone, is a noble decision. Brave, and scary, but who knows what it could lead to? I trust him with anything, and I can tell that he supports me in all my endeavors, and I love his spiritual side. But this is pretty much the first I've admitted of this little crush, and I guess I'm not necessarily expecting anything to happen, but I suppose crazier things have happened....

I hope he doesn't read my blog hahaha.

Probably not :)

Anyways, have a wonderful day, have a lovely life, enjoy your beginning of the week, because our monday is a day that some people don't have. I'm sure they'd relish the monday stress that we hold in such disdain.
