Nancy and I have a tendency to find the most interesting things attractive. You should really ask for a list sometime, but I promise, it gets a little crazy. A random example would be a man explaining how to put a baby down to sleep. This is a rather adorable thing for a man to talk about. It makes him slightly intoxicating, honestly.

Anyway, this is my latest project:

I have a problem where I consistently wake up at four in the morning, and then fall back asleep, and then wake up again every hour or so. This has been happening for the last year or so, and it's obnoxious.

So this balloon drawing is my way of saying, all the trouble starts at four. And all I can think is, seriously? Every night?

Well, sleep tight fellows!

Be brave, go to the thing, even if it means you'll be alone with that person for an extended period of time, and it could be increasingly awkward.

Packing Light

I'm home!

I thought it would never happen....

But here I am! I'm helping my Mom make treats for the family Christmas day tomorrow, recording a sweet little Christmas ditty, and seeing It's a Wonderful Life with my sweet ladies. It's so great to be here. It's a busy weekend, but in the best way possible.

And I also decided to pack light, because I need to help Nancy bring things to Provo. So I'm making this trip on:

1 pair of ankle boots
1 pair of toms
1 vest
1 jacket
1 sweater
1 tee shirt
2 blouses
1 pair of pants
1 dress

and miscellaneous accessories...

let's see what happens folks!

Six Months

Details:

It doesn't actually feel like six months. It feels more like, three months. But a wonderful three months. Folks, being in love, it's like, for eighteen years you were on a boat, floating around, without knowing where to go. Seeing things, knowing things, doing things, but nowhere to stop, no anchor to hold you in one spot. And then one day, while you were sailing aimlessly you happened to bump into another lost soul. And suddenly, you have a port. Suddenly, you have a reason to stay in one place.
It's amazing.

I love my hat. I have an obsession with hats, but especially with gorgeous floppy ones like this.
And that's all I have to say about that.

Well except I also got about five million compliments today about it. People kept telling me that they loved that I can rock the hat. Made me smile quite a bit :)

Also, today was just wonderful in general. Classes were good, I got to hang out with a friend who gave me exciting news (mum's the word), and I ate soup from a bread bowl. Does life get any better than this? I think not my friends, I think not.
