Engaged!!!

Psych! My sister is the one getting married.

I know, they really need a better picture together.

ANYWAY, Shawn and Melissa are lunatics and are engaged after just a few weeks of dating. But that's okay. When it's right, it's right. I love them despite the fact that Shawn is taking my sister away from me... And their wedding is only a few days before Hailey's which is making me a bit crazy myself. 

I don't really sound super thrilled but honestly I AM! I'm still adjusting to the idea of it though. Like my Melissa is getting married!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is happening?? And one of my best friends is getting married! Sarai better not do this to me anytime soon. 

Laurie and I have already started talking about our ideas for the reception. It shall be lovely!! Even though they would really just rather elope but no one is going to have any of that.

Hailey the babe and her man Bobby

Do you remember Hailey from this post? or this one? Well she's a babe. Her and her man Bobby are tying the knot! He proposed in a very romantic way last spring and they finally decided on a date. August 13th to be exact. 

Hailey's been telling me all along i'll be a big part of the wedding but I didn't know exactly what I was until today. MAID OF HONOR. Yeah... that's right. I'm so honored/happy/excited that Hailey wants me in that role and a little intimidated at the same time. When she said "big" she wasn't joking.

The bridesmaids are me and a few of our awesome friends that have stuck with us all through high school and turned into life long friends. Winter break will be so much fun dress shopping, wedding planning, and being all together again :)

I love Hailey dearly. She's been so supportive of me this past year and is always there when you need her. Especially when you need a little silly in your life :) Congratulations to The Babe and Her Man!

Fail

I have no pictures. Sorry. I left my laptop at home and I haven't taken any pictures except for tonight of my cousin and her fiance to capture their last moments together before they're a married couple tomorrow :) Actually I was just bored/super happy and Whit was on the computer and Devon was opening cards. 

Thanksgiving was wonderful and so nice as the "rehearsal dinner" so our family didn't have to do anything. Whaat? It was a different experience though not having the smell of thanksgiving dinner in the house and everyone rushing around eachother in the kitchen that's too small for 6 people to try and be cooking in there all at once but we make it work somehow. 

Well tomorrow is the big day and I probably should sleep cause i'm directing the traffic tomorrow and doing all of the last minute preparations while they're up in Canada at the temple for the actual ceremony. (I was dumb and forgot my passport at home. But this way there's a lot less of running around after we get back from the temple).
